Communicate with clarity when it matters.

Loquence listens as you answer out loud, then gives you specific feedback and one focused change to retry.

Example of Loquence feedback on a second attempt at a practice prompt.

Practice prompt

Attempt 2

Your manager asks why the launch slipped. Give them the short version.

Your focus

State the answer first

Focus met

You gave the reason in your first sentence, before any background.

From your latest attempt

“The launch moved two weeks because the payment review isn’t finished.”

Clarity score

6.1 → 6.8

  • It listens to you speak

Record an answer out loud. Loquence transcribes it, measures pace, fillers and pauses, and scores it against a calibrated rubric.

  • Private by default

No audience, no feed, no leaderboard. Rehearse on your own before you have to say it for real.

  • Feedback you can act on

Each result names one thing to change, shows where it happened, and checks your retry against it.

How it works

One prompt, one focus, one more try

You don't need another lecture on public speaking. You need to know what to change, and whether the change worked.

  1. Respond to a realistic prompt

Answer the kind of question that comes up in a meeting, an interview or a hallway conversation. Out loud, in about a minute.

  2. Get specific feedback

Loquence listens to the recording, transcribes what you said, and shows what worked, what got in the way, and the one change most likely to help.

  3. Retry one thing

Try again with that single focus. Loquence tells you whether the new attempt met it, and reports the score separately.

Why a focus

A score can't tell you what to do next

Scores move slowly and for many reasons. Loquence leads with the thing you were trying to fix, so a change that landed still counts when the number holds steady.

  • Each focus is one specific, checkable change, like stating your answer before the background.
  • Your retry is judged against that focus, not only against the overall score.
  • The score is reported on its own line and only says it rose when it actually did.

Who it's for

For people who know the answer but lose it out loud

For the moments when a clear answer matters more than another lesson.

Professionals

People who go quiet in meetings, replay what they should have said, and know clearer answers would change how they are heard.

Interview and career prep

Job-seekers and career-changers who know the answer but struggle to say it clearly under pressure.

Non-native English speakers

People whose ideas are sharper than their spoken English feels in the moment, and who want steady practice.

Students and early-career

Campus cohorts building spoken communication for interviews, placements and the first years of work.

FAQ

What Loquence is, and what it isn't

The first version is deliberately narrow.

Is Loquence a course?

No. Loquence is for practice. You start by speaking, then use the feedback to improve the next attempt.

Is it for presentations?

Not primarily. It is built for impromptu speaking: the moments when you have to think and answer on the spot.

Do I just get a score?

You get a score, but it is not the headline. Each result leads with a focus, evidence from what you said, and whether your retry met it.

Who can join the beta?

Adults aged 18 and over who want regular speaking practice with a tighter feedback loop.

What happens to my recordings?

Recordings are processed to create your transcript and feedback. The privacy policy explains what we collect and who helps us process it, and you can request deletion at any time.

Practice the answer before you need it.

We're opening Loquence to adults who will practice regularly and tell us where it falls short.
